Return of the Mule Ft. Restricted Shoes

I've always expected a comeback of 90's fashion, and with the past few years, we've seen the tremendous renaissance of its trends. Although I am not that old to be reminiscing 90's fashion, I do remember a little bit of it when I was young. From chokers, to crop tops, to corsets, all are now very much present. One of which are the mules, we thought we'd never see again, have already returned.

It has taken me a while to get on the mule trend, but I've finally given up and found myself with a pair. I used to not like them, but then again, when it comes to fashion, I'm always changing my mind.

If you were to ask me, I automatically think that mules only look good with denim or some pair of pants. But I decided to step out of my comfort zone to wear a maxi dress with it for a more summery feel, perfect for this Texas heat.

It's good to see such variety of mules coming out in the market now gaining steam in fashion. I chose this particular one: I'm wearing Funkytown Mules in Wine, because of the comfortable heel it offers. I'm not so enthusiastic for higher heels anymore, and I opt in for more comfort and wearable shoes nowadays. I love that they're slides - making it easy to wear for the summer. The embroidery on the heel is an added bonus. Get these pair for 25% off regular priced style using my discount code 'MANETTEISM25' on checkout.

Let me know what your thoughts about this trend! I'll talk to you guys again soon.
