Photo Diary: Mexico Cruise

I love stepping out of the deck and finding myself in exceptionally beautiful places. My trip to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico being one of them. It was my first time to ride a cruise ship and I definitely enjoyed the thrill of it. Although I got sea sick most of the time being there, I'd say, it has got to be one of my favorite vacations to date. It only took one cruise, a four-night voyage, for me to fall in love with it. Waking up in the morning and seeing the open ocean? Or watching the sunset on an outdoor jacuzzi with a drink on your hand? Sign me up! The sight of the Pacific seas never gets old.

Guests are issued a Sail and Sign card to be used in and out of the ship, and to use for onboard purchases.

The view of The Queen Mary from the cruise ship.
Imagine the size of this ship? My view from a boat sailing its way to Catalina Island.
First stop: Catalina Island.
With the beautiful, Sara.
My outfit. Top and Shoes: Forever 21, Skirt: Guess, Bag: Michael Kors
First water activity: Parasailing
My absolute favorite part.
Need to say more?
Second water activity: Snorkeling at Lovers Cove in Catalina Island.
Crystal clear waters.
Best decision of the day: spontaneous snorkeling for $10 an hour.
Third excursion: A tour of Punta Banda Peninsula.
La Bufadora: Mexico's blowhole, located in Punta Banda.
Pictures don't do it justice.
Our La Bufadora excursion comes with a little culinary adventure.
...and a little bit of souvenir shopping.
Fresh seafood off the grill and a virgin pina colada.
We actually bought a smaller version of this hat as a souvenir.
Can't forget about fish tacos and churros.
Fourth excursion: Playa Hermosa Beach
Beautiful day to learn how to surf.
First time, definitely not the last.
Docked at Ensenada.
My amazing view of the city from the ship.
Sunset watching.
We have this view from day break till the dawn.
Golden hour.
